The Prodigy

The Prodigy

There are legends of electronic music – and then there is The Prodigy. “Breathe,” “Firestarter,” “No Good (Start the Dance),” “Smack My Bitch Up,” “Voodoo People,” “Diesel Power”… Liam Howlett’s talent for building dystopian creations from oftentimes shocking samples is unmatched. The project emerged at the creative peak of rave culture and became a bridge between the underground of British dance music and the rest of the world. Its unique sound on the border of hardcore, jungle, techno, hip-hop, and rock music made the band an icon of alternative culture, no matter which subculture you belonged to. In the 1990s they were synonymous with rebellion and futurism. Their incredible live performances allow them to maintain their status to this day. The Prodigy will be one of the headliners of the 20th anniversary edition of Audioriver Festival.

Zhu

Zhu

DJ, producer, or superstar? How about all of the above! Zhu shows no signs of slowing down, often taking the mic himself to perform his biggest hits. You certainly know “Faded”. Everyone does. It’s one of the defining singles of the last decade. Since then, Zhu has been exploring the fringes of dance music, R&B, and trap, conquering both the charts and the club scene with hybrid sets that defy classification. On his latest album, “Black Midas,” the artist signals a return to his roots, weaving narratives of late-night escapades over deep house beats.
