Rusko

Rusko

Rusko is one of the most important figures on the dubstep scene. The mix he released for Fabric nearly twenty years ago, which he mixed alongside Caspa, became a milestone for heavy bass sounds and a launchpad for his success. The Briton’s sound lies on the border of the most interesting elements of bass culture. On one hand, respect for soundsystems and dub roots, and on the other, a huge dose of very British naughtiness and mischief. This is the guy responsible for popularizing tearout sounds and he still captivates with his sets to this day. Now, wake the fuck up!

Kraków and Ostrava share a mission! This triple threat from the south hitting the Hybrid stage is a powerhouse collaboration between Shandrill, Beaty, and Mila207, DJs who haven’t just been performing across Europe for years, but actively co-creating its scene. You might know Shandrill from the Neurodydaktyka series and her previous Audioriver appearances. Beaty is a key figure at the Beats for Love festival, and together with Mila, she co-organizes the Trident parties held in Žilina, Slovakia. Quite the CV, right? It’s immediately clear we’re dealing with true experts in broken beats.

Shimza

Shimza

Shimza is one of the biggest stars to emerge from South Africa. He started as a modest DJ from Tembisa, near Johannesburg, and today he plays on the world’s largest stages while remaining faithful to the Afro-house and Afro-tech sounds rooted in the language and traditions of his home country. As a producer, he has collaborated with the likes of Aloe Blacc, Camelphat, and Elderbrook. As a DJ, he is renowned for his dramatic sets, where enchanting melodies meet folk vocals and dense polyrhythms. Very soon at Audioriver, we will hear Shimza weave these sounds into a captivating whole!
