Sevdaliza

Sevdaliza

Sevdaliza (Teheran, Iran) is an autodidactic singer, songwriter, director and composer. Her creations contrast husky vocals with cutting strings and bass lines setting an enigmatic mood. Born in Iran and residing in the Netherlands, Sevdaliza has made quite the impression with her consistent release of audiovisual experiences. Sevdaliza’s melancholic visceral voice floats over beds of thumping triphop dubs, married with classical harmonies. Rhythmic tensions build slowly into chaotic climaxes. Her work has been described as “genre- bending”, drawing on various genres including electronic, punk, triphop, grime and the avant-garde.

Her writing, influenced by greater novelists, has a philosophical questioning character; subjects like gender diversification and perception of emotion are strongly present. Masculine and feminine energy blend harmonically within. Sevdaliza plays with the simulation of identities and fantasies that can hardly be distinguished from reality. Creating a world where everything is possible. To Sevdaliza, expression comes forward in designing every detail in sound and imagery. Her music is charged with demanding energy and consists an enormous amount of dynamics. It portrays a porcelain yet deep fullness. Her creations attracted worldwide attention. She self-released her internationally acclaimed debut EP “The Suspended Kid and the follow-up “Children of Silk”. Both EP’s were well received worldwide with the likes of international press and fans. Meanwhile, her music has been synced on the runway and on screen for film and TV. Last year, Sevdaliza debuted with the ISON LP. The release of this album was received with praise by basically all leading media worldwide. The release of the album was followed by a sold out headline tour through Europe and the US. In 2018 Sevdaliza embarked on her first world tour. Leading the unique band through Australia, Europa, The United States and Asia. In this same year Sevdaliza released the groundbreaking visual of Shahmaran which received from all corners of the entertainment industry.

Skarby

Skarby (Bar25, Traum, Melody of the Soul) – house project from Warsaw. With over 20 years of studio experience stretching over a number of genres and having played some of the biggest electronic festivals across Poland and abroad, Tom found his footing with Skarby, releasing two albums an collaborative EP that climbed to the top of the beatport Organic House charts in February 2022. With a dose of “soft touch” and an ear for melodies, his new material is suitable for dance floors as well as a soundtrack for a sunny day in the meadows.

Solomun

Solomun

For Solomun, music isn’t just a tool to make people dance. Music is as diverse as life itself: many different shades, moments, and memories to be made. Music triggers emotions and vice versa, and this sort of interrelation – with Solomun representing the music and the audience emotions – is what casts the spell around his performances.

His “Solomun +1” residency at Pacha Ibiza started in quite a laid-back fashion – with him doing his own thing, moving the DJ booth into the centre of the club to be close to the people on the dancefloor instead of the usual high podium, and introducing a fairly unheard-of concept on the Island: a night together with only one friend. Since its commencement in 2013, “Solomun +1” has long become an Ibiza household name, with its “Solomun +LIVE” offshoot on the Island and +1 editions all over the world, be it Berlin, New York or Tulum.

The same energy was what kicked off his music label Diynamic in 2006: A band of brothers with similar ideas, taste in music, and the volition to support each other. And, looking back, Diynamic turned out to be the stepping stone for many artists’ careers.

All of this started somewhere small, but by being himself, an honest entertainer in the truest sense of the word, not a stage persona, Solomun came to be so incredibly sought after.

He proved that the music is more important than the place it’s played at, because his sets, remixes and productions are bringing people together. And always, he is sending the same message: “Nobody is not loved.”
