Serum is a DJ and producer who has made a name for himself by juxtaposing vintage jungle with modern jump-up. Along with regular collaborators Bladerunner and Voltag, he is a member of the self-proclaimed King of the Rollers, who are associated with the iconic Hospital. He has been on the scene for more than a decade, and his vast discography includes many tracks for such crews as Dread, Creative Source, Grid and Digital Soundboy. He founded Souped Up Records himself, and with the support of such heavyweights as Andy C and Shy FX, he has joined the ranks of genre’s stars.

Shygirl is one of the brighter stars of young British popular music. The mischievous and charismatic singer made her debut in the NUXXE collective co-founded by herself, Sega Bodega and Coucou Chloe, juxtaposing danceable, post-club beats with hip-hop. She has collaborated with Arca, Slowthai and the late Sophie, among others. In 2022, she finally released her debut album titled “Nymph,” which draws on a wide range of inspirations: from uk garage to breakbeat and jungle to reggaeton, welding them together with the artist’s hedonistic and expressive nature. This year’s deluxe version of the album features a remix by Björk herself and a catch-up from Sevdaliza, so it’s already safe to say that Shygirl is playing in the premier league of avant-pop.
