Apashe & The Brass Orchestra

Apashe & The Brass Orchestra

What’s the best way to crank up a sound that sits right on the edge of trap and dubstep? With a brass orchestra! Apashe is bringing his full ensemble to Audioriver to showcase the sheer power of his sound: epic, built on soul-crushing bass, and steeped in classical music influences. From the very first note, it’s clear he approaches his productions with a cinematic grandiosity. Having started his career scoring AAA video games, he’s moved on to major films and the world’s biggest stages.

Bad Boombox

Bad Boombox

Bad Boombox is the real deal! While he loves a good joke and blew up through memes, even trying to pull a prank on us with his bio (if you read somewhere that he placed third in a Jason Derulo remix contest and runs a massage parlor, it means the promoter just copy-pasted the text without reading it), there is no room for jokes behind the decks. The chef at Hot Meal Records serves up a menu of hot house, hard house, fusion house, a pinch of eurodance, and a hardgroove garnish. Originally from Bulgaria and raised in the States, he now calls Berlin home. You can hear every one of those life chapters in his high-energy sets!

Ben Klock

Ben Klock

Ben Klock is the very heart of the Berghain sound and has been a resident of the club for nearly 20 years. Few artists are so intrinsically linked to a specific venue. His legend was forged, in part, by his marathon sets. It was during these performances that a signature sound was born: raw and powerful, yet possessing incredible depth. There would be no Klock without Berghain, and no Berghain without Klock. Looking back today, it’s safe to say that thanks to his efforts, a techno renaissance was triggered, one that continues to this day. He is an absolute icon and a creator of timeless art. This year, much like the Audioriver Festival, he is also celebrating a 20th anniversary: in 2006, he founded his own label, Klockworks.
